Junior: Olivia started her Junior year at Eastlake High School. As a starter and co-team captain on the Varsity team, her leadership, scoring ability and her high basketball IQ can be counted on by her coaches and team mates. This year, Eastlake was the CIF San Diego Section Division 1 Champions, she was named to the Metro Conference All League First Team and received the MVP award from her team for the season. She also named to the All Academic Team/Award from the San Diego Union Tribune for her 3.67 GPA.

Sophomore: As a Sophomore, Olivia was a starter on the varsity team and was awarded the Best Defensive Player of the Year. She also averaged 8.1 rebounds a game and could be counted on for her strong post play and consistent mid-range jumper. She helped lead her team to the first conference championship win since 2008, as well as a birth in the State Open Division Qualifier. Olivia was named to the All-Star team at the U.S. Junior Nationals held in Redondo Beach CA on April 24-26, 2015 while playing with her club team Rage.
Freshman: As a freshmen, Olivia played on the Varsity team, earning a starting spot by the second half of the season.
Intangibles: The 5'11 forward was also involved in Eastlake High Schools Track Team during her freshman year and the Surf Club/Team for the past two years.
Olivia is a well rounded athlete. In addition to her high school sports, Olivia has swum competitively and rode horses for many years. She is constantly searching for ways to improve her game. Olivia has attended many camps and clinics over the years. Some of the more recent ones are two camps hosted through Breakthrough Basketball, Elite camps at the University of San Diego (USD) and the University of California San Diego (UCSD). Olivia has also attended Point Guard College in June of 2015 at Azuza Pacifica College in Southern California.
Olivia enjoys working with the youth in her community by volunteering on a regular basis at her elementary school, Thurgood Marshall Elementary. She has helped out at many Marshall Elementary community events. In addition, she helped out coaching their basketball team for a season. She has also volunteered at a youth basketball camp hosted by a local church.
Personal: Olivia Lee Klugg was born in Los Angeles, California on August 1, 1999. Daughter of, Tamara and Dieter Klugg, Sister to Joseph Klugg, Olivia has always been an amazing athlete. Olivia loves being outdoors with her family and has been hiking, camping, surfing and swimming since she was able. Olivia discovered her passion for basketball and has been playing since she was just 9 years old. Her goal is to continue her basketball career as a collegiate athlete. Following college, Olivia has expressed interest in a career in coaching basketball or possibly following in her fathers footsteps as a firefighter.
