Freshman: As a freshmen, Jessica played freshmen at Page High School
Though previously uninterested in basketball, Jessica tried out for her eighth grade basketball team thanks to her P.E. teacher’s recommendation. She made the team, and was easily the tallest person on the team. She could outdistance all of them, but still spent most of her time on the bench, because her skills were not as good as some of the other girls.
• The 6'0 post was also involved with Page High School Cross Country, who placed first in their state meet. As a sophomore, Jessica took part in Deer Valley Cross Country, finishing fourth for her team, and helping to get 9th in state, better than Deer Valley has done in a very long time.
• Jessica also runs in track and placed 8th as a freshmen in the 800m run with a time of 2:27, and helped their 4x800m relay team take fifth.
• Jessica is active in her community and often does service projects to either help others or organizations.
• Jessica Marie Roskelley was born on April 28, 2000, in Mesa, Arizona. When she was four, she moved to Page, Arizona. She lived there through grade school, middle school, and her freshman year until moving to Peoria in May of 2015. In Page Jessica participated in many city leagues for soccer, basketball, and softball. In middle school she did cross country all three years, basketball her eighth grade year, and track for her sixth and eighth grade years.
